A beautiful geometric design Dark Grey Lacquer Sonnet fountain pen and ballpoint set.  Both items are in excellent condition with no damage noted to either; I would be most surprised if either piece has been used more than once or twice.  The cap tops have a black jewel, that is surrounded by a gold plated tassie from which depends the Parker arrow pocket clip, also gold plated.  The  wide gold plated vcap lip bands bear the imprint: "PARKER SONNET FRANCE", and the fountain pen has the date code IIIT for second quarter 1995, whereas the ballpoint has II for the third quarter 1994.  

Fountain Pen

The barrel unscrews to allow the pen to be filled, and you can either use the original ink converter that is already fitted into the pen, or if you prefer, you can also use a standard Parker ink cartridge.  The glossy black section has a narrow gold plated band at either end.  The lovely nib is the sought-after 18 carat gold variety, and is in a fine point. 

Ballpoint

This is a retractable pencil that works by twisting the cap.  It is fitted with its original ink refill that is working well still.  

Box

The original box is also in great shape with its bridge coloured fabric interior.  You can find the original paperwork below the pad.  

The pen's nib is very smooth and writes with a lovely wet and consistent fine width line.  The pencil works perfectly.
