A really lovely and rather uncommon Scribe No. 336 in green and black casein.  This pen is in very good condition with the only damage I can see being some very minor surface crazing that these older casein pens so often have.  Both barrel and cap have a very nice glossy appearance even so.  Being a casein pen, the colours are still lovely and bright with no apparent fading or discolouration.  The cap has a slightly domed hard rubber top button that holds on the ball-ended chrome plated pocket clip.  The clip has the CS logo imprinted at the shoulder within a diamond-shaped cartouche. The pen has an excellent deep and crisp barrel imprint.  The short filling lever opposite the imprint is chrome plated and has a circular "lollipop" end tab with the "CS" logo imprinted within a circle.  The nib is a lovely and undamaged little Conway Stewart in 14 carat gold and in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and writes with a lovely wet and consistent line.  The nib is also soft and will provide a little understated line width variation as you write.
