I see very few Parker 51 ballpoints. This one is in very good condition.  The only damage I can see on it is a tiny ding to the cap adjacent to the pocket clip shoulder.  This is an early Parker 51 ballpoint with the metal threads so it probably dates to the 1950s.  It has the "PARKER" imprint around the front of the cap lip with no imprint to the rear.  The cap itself has the grey jewel at the top that holds on the chrome plated short arrow pocket clip.  It has a plain lucite barrel in the Dove Grey colour.  As this is a Parker ballpoint, you can get a huge range of different refill types to fit it including gel, rollerball, fine liner, etc.   

I have fully serviced this pen.  It works perfectly fitted with what could well be its original blue Parker T-Ball refill.  

Parker 51 ballpoints are very uncommon and are only getting harder and harder to find.
