Size: Length Capped - 118mm; Length Posted - 134mm.

This glossy dark blue Lady Duofold set is in excellent condition.  Externally, I can find no cracks, splits or chips or even any noticeable surface scratches to either piece.   The caps have a conical-ended blue coloured top jewel with a rolled gold collar and rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip.  The "deco" engraved cap bands are also rolled gold.  All trim is in excellent and unbrassed condition.

Fountain Pen

Inside, there is no discolouration to either end of the Aerometric sac guard and the original pliglass ink sac has just a minor blue colour caste.   There is a very nice clear and complete imprint to the side of the barrel which unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler.  The nib is hooded and in 14 carat gold.  It is a medium point.

Pencil

This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the cap.  It has a rolled gold point, and it, too, has a nice clear barrel imprint.  The cap pulls off to reveal an apparently unused pink eraser with space beneath to store your spare 0.9mm leads.  I have fitted a fresh lead in the mechanism, and it is all ready to go.  There is a partial factory-applied chalk mark to the parrel of the pencil, indicating that it has not been used much at all.  

Box

This is a beautiful and rather unusual red leather covered hard shell case.  I don't know if it was the original box for this set, it looks to me to be a bit older perhaps.  It is a superb quality case with brass bound lid and base and a velvet pad.  It does have some scuffs to the outside.  

I have fully serviced this set.  The Aerometric filler unit works very well, and the pen fills as it should. The nib is very smooth in operation and lays down an excellent wet and consistent medium width line.  The pencil works perfectly. 

A very nice example of the uncommon Lady Duofold with the matching pencil.  I don't think it has been used very much at all.
