PA3781 Parker Duofold Lady Pencil.

Size: Length - 124mm.

A beautiful orange and black Permanite pencil with all gold-filled trim.  This is the pencil that the modern Duofold pencils are a rather pale imitation of.  The pencil has excellent colour with none of the usual colour darkening that you often get with early celluloid.  The pencil is in excellent condition with no noticeable plating wear or any dings to the metalwork.  The gold-filled top knob has a chatelaine ring mounted at the top.  The imprint is also in the crown "PARKER / MADE IN USA / GOLD FILLED".  This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the top knob.  This also pulls off revealing the rather petrified original pink eraser.  Below the eraser is a space to store your spare 1.18mm leads.  On the barrel is a very tiny, but still clear and crisp imprint.  Also on the barrel is a larger but rather attractive owner's name "Natalia Wright". 

I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly with a fresh 1.18mm lead in the mechanism.
