PA3799 Parker Vacumatic Slender (Soft Double Broad)

This is a lovely smaller size Parker Vacumatic with the first generation lockdown aluminium filling plunge.  This is a very lovely Emerald green and black striated Permanite Vacumatic pen with the triple gold filled cap band.  It is in excellent, glossy and as far as I can see, undamaged condition.  The jewel on the cap is striped green and black to match the barrel and cap; the one on the blind cap is black.  The cap jewel holds on the Parker "split arrow" pocket clip.  Below this are the gold filled cap bands .   This is a Lockdown Vacumatic - when you unscrew the blind cap, you twist the aluminium filling plunger to allow it to pop out.  I can see some minor wear to the locking mechanism, but it does still lock in very well.  Holding the barrel up to the light, you can see it is semi-transparent with none of the usual internal ink staining, and just a tiny bit of mild ambering.  The nib is a lovely 14 carat gold Parker Vacumatic, which is in a very unusual double broad point.

I have fully serviced this pen. The nib is very smooth.  It writes beautifully with a lovely wet line with a good consistent ink flow. It is a soft nib and will provide some attractive if understated line width variation from a medium to a double broad.
