This is a really beautiful Sheaffer.  The pen has an Imperial-style chromed pocket clip with the Sheaffer white dot at the top.  The cap and the barrel are gold plated and machine engraved with a lovely chevron geometric pattern that catches the light beautifully.  The cap lip is polished and bears the "SHEAFFER" imprint.  This pen is in excellent condition and I really can't fault it at all.  It looks to me to have hardly been used.  The black plastic section looks to be unmarked with no visible scratching or other damage.  The nib is semi-hooded, and stamped as 14ct gold.  It is completely undamaged and in a medium point.  This is a cartridge/converter filler and can be used with the original Sheaffer squeeze-bar ink converter that is already fitted to the pen, or standard Sheaffer ink cartridges. 

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and writes with a medium width wet and consistent line.

A beautiful Lady Sheaffer in a hard to find finish.
