A beautiful Sheaffer Imperial all 23ct gold plated ballpoint.  This item is in excellent condition, and I can't see anything wrong with it at all.  Both barrel and cap have a lovely vertical line fluted decoration.  The cap has a wide and squared-off pocket clip with the Sheaffer white dot at the top. This is the "reminder" clip.  You press the bottom of the clip to extend the writing point and the top to retract it.  Whilst the point is in the extended position, it is impossible to slip the pen into a pocket, etc., as the clip is locked shut.  The cap unscrews to reveal a Sheaffer "K" refill, which is no longer working, but if you remind me when ordering, I will include a fresh refill for you.  You can also use standard Sailor refills in these pens.  The original black paperboard box is also in nice condition with its dark blue velveteen pad, below which is the original instruction leaflet.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  It works perfectly and is in great condition.
