An unusual English blue lacquered pencil that is in good condition. I can see a couple of tiny pinpricks in the lacquer, and there are some fine scratches and surface wear. The pencil has a pair of narrow chrome-plated bands and a chrome-plated point. At the top of the pencil is a chrome-plated pocket clip with "EVERSHARP" imprinted down the stem. Around the back is an imprint. This is a clutch pencil - you press on the top button to extend the 1.18mm lead. The top button can be pulled out - there is the stub of the original pink eraser on the underside of the button.
I have fully serviced this pencil. I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism. It works perfectly.
