Kamawanu is a Japanese brand specialising in traditional tenugui (hand towels), known for its commitment to craftsmanship and timeless design.  Each piece is carefully dyed using traditional techniques, resulting in a product that is both practical and artistically refined.

Fugu-tateoke

Since ancient times, the pufferfish has been called ‘fuku’, a word associated with ‘good fortune’ (‘fuku’ in Japanese). In this design, the traditional Japanese pattern ‘tatewaku’ –which depicts a rising stream or clouds and is regarded as an auspicious motif –is reimagined as a bubble, expressing a joyful pattern to bring good luck.

This pen set is presented in a special box with a matching Kanawamu towel.
