A lovely green Bailey fountain pen with gold trim in its original box.  It is in excellent condition with no damage on it at all.  The cap has a plastic end piece that tapers at the top in traditional Cross fashion.  There is a gold plated conical end.  Below this is the gold plated pocket clip, which has a tapered shaft with "CROSS" imprinted. The wide cap band is also gold plated and is decorated with an engraved pattern.  The cap pulls off to reveal the self-coloured gripping section and the gold plated nib, which is in a medium point.   The barrel will unscrew to allow the fitting of a standard Cross ink converter (not included), or you can also, of course, use Cross ink cartridges if you prefer.  There is already one of these in the barrel to get you started.  The original l;jbox is also in lovely and undamaged condition.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib feels lovely and smooth and writes with a good wet and consistent medium width line.
