This is a very attractive Dinkie set in lovely glossy and unmarked green marbled with gold vein casein.  Both pieces are in excellent condition with no damage that I could find. The box has kept both pen and pencil in excellent condition.  The caps have a small conical gold filled top button that holds on the pocket clips that have the "CS" monogram within a diamond at the top and another diamond at the bottom. 

Fountain Pen

The barrel imprint is crisp and deep, and the cute little filling lever has the "CS" monogram imprinted in the circular end tab.  The nib is shiny and totally undamaged, and is in a fine point with the slightly hooded gripping section being the tell-tale difference between this 560 and the earlier 550.  

Pencil

The cap has a very good deep, and crisp imprint.  The cap pulls off for access to the eraser holder, though this is really rather stiff.  The cone is also gold filled.  The leads are propelled and repelled smoothly by twisting the cap.  I have fitted a fresh 1.1mm lead into the mechanism so it is all ready to go.

Box

A black and white criss-cross pattern paperboard presentation case.  This is in good condition with the usual edge and corner wear; one of the corners at the front of the lid has split but the box still shows well.  

I have fully serviced this set.  The nib writes very smoothly with a good consistent and wet line.  It does have some softness and will even provide for a tiny bit of line width variation as you write.
