A beautiful, large, but not too heavy Leonardo pen in the terrific purple coloured resin, which is a mixture of pinks, reds, and mauves - just a stunning pen.  The design of the Momento Zero reminds me a lot of the Eversharp Doric pens of the 1930s with the conical ended cap and barrel and the roller terminal pocket clip.  This pen has gold plated trims which consist of the pocket clip, three narrow cap bands, a band between the barrel and the blind cap, and a further band that sits just below the cap lip when the pen is capped.  This is a piston filled pen.  You unscrew the blind cap to reveal a smooth gold plated knob that you twist to operate the filling mechanism.  There is a very crisp and clear imprint to the side of the barrel.  The lovely large Leonardo nib is in a medium point and is rose gold coloured.  I have carefully looked over this pen, and I cannot find any damage on it at all.  It looks to me like it has only seen very limited and very careful use.  

The nib writes superbly with a lovely, generous medium width.
