A little bit of fun here - an unusually bright red and black celluloid pencil advertising "The Gramophone Company Ltd". This pencil is in excellent condition with just a tiny bit of foxing to the pocket clip and point plating. This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the black crown. I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the pencil, and it is working perfectly. The inscription on the barrel is picked out in gold and is lovely and clear with no loss of infill. The point can be unscrewed for access to the forward part of the mechanism for cleaning purposes.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
An interesting advertising pencil in lovely condition.
