A lovely, large, oversized Narwhal Original piston-filled pen in a lovely blue and red swirly resin.  This is a piston-filled pen, and it looks to me like it has never actually been used.  It is as clean as a whistle inside and out with absolutely no damage on it at all.  The flat-topped cap is very simple with no bands; just a slightly domed metal top button and a spring-loaded rose gold-plated pocket clip that reminds me a bit of the Conklin clips in the way it is attached to the cap by a strip of spring steel.  The cap has a wide and ornately decorated rose gold plated band. The barrel has a blind cap at the end with a rose gold ring separating it from the forward part of the barrel.  You twist this blind cap in order to fill the pen.  The front of the barrel has a clear visualated window through which you can see the level of ink in the pen.  The gripping section is self-coloured and holds the rose gold plated stainless steel nib, which is in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib feels very smooth and writes with a lovely medium width line.

The second Narwhal I have ever had - a very impressive build quality for the price of these pens.
