MS935 English Sterling Silver Pencil "Thames Board"

A nice fully sterling silver pencil that dates from I would think the late 1930s. It is in very excellent condition, with, unusually, no damage at all to report. The polished barrel and crown do not even have any of the usual micro-scratches that I could find. The crown of the pencil pulls off to reveal a spare lead hopper, and there is a spare 1.18mm lead in there. Below this is a ball-ended pocket clip. The whole of the pen is in beautifully polished sterling silver. An imprint adjacent to the pocket clip reads "STERLING SILVER / MADE IN ENGLAND" and the barrel has "THAMES BOARD" imprinted in the centre. This may refer to the large paper mill in Purfleet. This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the crown. I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism and it is all ready to go.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It is working perfectly.
