MS935 Moonman P140, boxed. (Fine)

Date: c2000s

Size: Capped - 151mm; Posted - 170mm.

A lovely, large, oversized piston-filled Demonstrator pen with a humongous No. 8 nib.  The Moonman P140 is a premium quality Chinese pen.  This one is boxed and hardly used.  It has a tiny bit of ink inside the pen where it is pretty much impossible to clean out, but I suspect it has been used only once or twice.  The cap has a gold plated pocket clip and a rather ornate double band at the lip.  The lower band is wider and beautifully engraved with fan shapes.  The internal mechanism, which has been crafted from brass, is fully visible, and you can see it working when you twist the barrel-end blind cap.  ~The huge nib is gold plated, and also has some  engraving on the upper sirface, this time in the form of a sunburst around the breather hole.  The original box includes the instruction sheet and is also in lovely condition.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib feels very smooth and writes with a lovely fine-to-medium width line.
