A beautiful and sought-after Parker 75 in a lovely glossy jet black lacquer finish.  This pen is date-coded on the cap lip band to 1991, so it is quite a late example.  This is a French made Parker 75 and is fitted with a 14 carat solid gold nib.  All the trim is gold filled.  This pen is in excellent condition - with a loupe I can see a few very fine and wispy scratches in the barrel and cap, but nothing you can spot without magnification.  

Starting with the cap, the gold filled tassie has an inset gold coloured metal disc.   The polished cap band is imprinted "PARKER" and "FRANCE" .  The barrel has a similar tassie as the cap.  The section is in black plastic with the ergonimically shaped and textured finger grip.  The nib is 14 carat yellow gold and in a medium point.  The forward end of the section has the gold filled band and as with most Parker 75s, the nib and feed will twist around so that you can angle it at the correct angle for you.  This pen is a cartridge filler, accepting standard Parker cartridges, or you can use the original Parker ink converter that is already fitted to the pen if you prefer bottled ink.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes with a very smooth, fine width wet line.
