A very pretty English grey coloured Parker 51 Mk. II set.  This is a very unusual trio set, and it includes the original stamped instruction sheet, which shows the purchase date and that it was originally sold as a trio of fountain pen, pencil, and ballpoint.  The fountain pen and pencil are both in excellent, and hardly used condition; the ballpoint has been used and has some minor surface wear (fine scratches to the barrel).  The caps all have clear grey top jewels with a chrome plated Parker pocket clip.  The cap frosting covers the entire cap with no polished lip and the imprint around the bottom of the caps reads "PARKER" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" with the Parker arrow and halo symbol above.  The caps are, as far as I can see, totally free from scratches and the frosting looks just lovely.

Fountain Pen
The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler, which is in excellent, undamaged and shiny condition.  The original pliglass ink sac is still installed and retains all of its original transparency with no evidence at all that it has ever seen ink.  The hooded nib is in a medium point and made from 14 carat gold. 

Pencil
This is a twist pencil.  It, too, is in near-pristine condition.  The cap pulls off to reveal a partly pink eraser.  Below the eraser is the spare lead hopper with a couple of spare 0.9mm leads.  I have also installed a fresh lead in the pencil's mechanism, so it is all ready to go.

Ballpoint

This is a retractable ballpoint that works by pressing down on the cap.  The cap will also unscrew to allow the fitting of a fresh refill.  I have included the original Parker refiull which is working after a fashion, but I have also installed a new refill in the pen.  

Box
The original box is in very good, clean condition.  It is a gard-shell case with the criss-cross design outside and a grey satin lining inside. 

I did just dip the nib to get the writing sample below.  The nib feels very smooth and writes with a very good medium-width line.
