This lovely Flighter is still in very nice condition.  The only damage I can see on this pen is a faint clip mark to the cap either side of the pocket clip terminal.  This is very common with these brushed steel caps.  It is a late model Parker 45 with the chrome barrel end.  I would estimate late 1970s but before 1979 when the date codes started as this pen is not dated.  It has a chromed Parker arrow pocket clip and chromed clutch ring.  The section is in glossy, unmarked black plastic.  The Octanium nib is in a rather unusual extra fine point and is also completely undamaged with a generous blob of iridium at the tip.  The barrel unscrews to allow filling of the pen.  It may be used with either a standard Parker ink cartridge or filled from a bottle using the original squeeze-bar ink converter already fitted to the pen.  The brown plastic box is also in very nice external condition, and the white card outer slipcase is still present, though the box does not have its pad inside.  Also in the box is the original instruction/guarantee card.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth in action and writes with a lovely wet and fine to extra-fine width consistent line.
