This lovely Flighter is still in excellent condition.  The only damage I can see on this pen is some slight waviness to the black gripping section.  This is caused by the cap clutch pressing in on the plastic ofthe grip over the years, and causing a slight radial depression.  This is very common with these pens.  It is a late model Parker 45 with the chrome barrel end.  I would estimate mid to late 1970s.  It has a chromed Parker arrow pocket clip and chromed clutch ring.  The section is in glossy black plastic.  The 14 carat gold nib is in a medium point and is also completely undamaged with a generous blob of iridium at the tip.  The barrel unscrews to allow filling of the pen.  It may be used with either a standard Parker ink cartridge or filled from a bottle using the original squeeze-bar ink converter already fitted to the pen.  The brown plastic box has sone exterior wear to the flocked covering but inside it is nice and clean.  Inside the lid is the original instruction/guarantee sheet. 

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth in action and writes with a lovely wet and medium width consistent line.
