A beautiful pastel green and white M200 in old stock condition, it has only been dipped once to get the writing sample and has otherwise been living in my storeroom in its original packaging.  The M200 is a medium sized pen suitable for most hands.  It has a white cap and blind barrel cap and a very attractive marbled pale green barrel with a translucent green coloured barrel "window" at the forward end.  The cap has the famous Pelikan logo at the end in gold with a lovely gold plated pelican beak pocket clip and a gold plated cap band.  The blind cap at the end of the barrel is twisted to operate the piston filling mechanism.  The nib is fairly large and is gold plated in an extra fine point. The original retail packaging consists of a white leatherette pouch that the pen sits in.  Outside of that is the drawer-like main box, and keeping all protected is the white paperboard outer slipcase.  The latter has a couple of small ink marks on it; otherwise, everything is lovely.

I have just dipped the nib to get the writing sample below. It is a very smooth writing nib and produces an excellent wet and extra fine width line.
