PE155 Pelikan Pura Rollerball, boxed.

PE155 Pelikan Pura Rollerball, boxed.

Date: c2000s

Size: Length - 138mm capped; 154mm posted.

The Pura is a mid-range pen from Pelikan with an all metal construction.  This one is in the lovely frosted "Deep Gree" colour and polished chrome finish with polished panels providing beautiful contrast with the frosted ground.  This pen is in excellent condition with no damage at all that I was able to spot and I would be most surprised if it has even been used.  The cap has an unusual flush-fitting pocket clip which hinges on a sprung thing at the top so it rides once and low in the pocket.  The original sales label is still slid under the pocket clip.  The end of the barrel is polished chrome and is shaped so that the cap will "click" onto the end piece for a good firm posting.  There is a "PELIKAN GERMANY" imprint around the cap lip.  The cap pulls off to reveal the chrome finger grip.  The grip unscrews to allow the fitting of a Pelikan rollerball refill.  There is not currently any refill in the pen but there is a brand new refill in the box.  The box itself is a simple paperboard affair but it is in excellent condition and includes the original outer slipcase.

I have fully serviced this pen.  It is working perfectly.

A lovely pen, and an unusual one to get hardly used.
