A lovely glossy jet black Imperial II with the short conical Triumph nib and chrome trim.  This pen is in excellent condition with no damage noted at all and is presented in its original presentation case.  The cap and barrel have no noticeable scratches or other damage. The cap has a typical squared off spring loaded Imperial pocket clip with "Sheaffer's" imprinted down the stem.  It has some really beautiful and delicate frosting to the surface of the cap which sets off the polished pocket clip to a tee.  The whole pen looks very attractive and glossy, and all the trim is bright and shiny with no brassing or other damage.  The barrel end blind cap unscrews smoothly to enable the withdrawal of the filling plunger.  All the insides are clean and undamaged and work as they should.  The glossy black section holds the Sheaffer's triumph style conical nib that is made from palladium silver.  It is in a fine point.  The original box is very clean and tidy.  It has a slightly padded outside with some minor age-spotting to the top of the lid.  Inside, the pen sits on a creamcoloured satin pad.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The Touchdown filler generates excellent compression and the pen fills very well.  The nib writes very smoothly.  It lays down a good wet and consistent fine width line.
