A beautiful gold filled Imperial det with the etched diamond pattern on both the caps and the barrels.  This model was known as the Sovereign Imperial and is rather difficult to find in such nice condition as this one.  both pieces are in excellent condition, with no dings, no noticeable scratches, and no brassing that I was able to spot.  The caps have a gold plated spring-loaded pocket clip with the Sheaffer's white dot at the top.  The pens' imprints can be found around the cap lip.  It reads 14K GF {CROWN} SHEAFFER USA.  

Fountain Pen

The barrel unscrews and this pen can be filled either with the original Sheaffer squeeze-bar ink converter that is already fitted in the pen, or if you prefer you can use standard Sheaffer ink cartridges. The nib is one of Sheaffer's excellent inlaid models and is in a fine width point. 

Ballpoint

The cap unscrews to allow fitting of a fresh refill.  It is currently fitted with a blue Sheaffer K refill that is working perfectly.  The is a retractable ballpoinbt that works by pressing the top and bottom of the pocket clip.

Box

The beige coloured flocked box is also in very nice condition.  It is satin-lined inside and is very clean and tidy.

I have fully serviced this set.  The nib is very smooth and writes with a lovely, wet and fine width consistent line.  The ballpoint works perfectly.  

This is a very unusual set in lovely condition.
