WA634 Waterman's Lady Patricia Pencil.

Size: Length - 108mm.

This very attractive Lady Patricia pencil is in very good condition.  Cosmetically, it is beautiful, but there is about 1mm of play in the mechanism when you extend the 1.18mm lead.  This does not cause any problems when using the pencil, it is probably just a somewhat old and tired mechanism. This is the rather lovely Onyx colourway of a creamy white ground with deep oxblood veins.  The cap has a flat top created by the wrap-over gold filled pocket clip.  The clip and gold filled barrel band have a very nice deco-style decoration.  The imprint, which is around the rear of the top edge of the small cap, is quite shallow and hard to see, but is still complete.  The point is partly made from a burgundy coloured celluloid, with the forward part being gold-filled.  This is a propel-repel pencil that works smoothly by twisting the cone.  You can unscrew the short cap, and below is the pertified stub of the original eraser.  This pulls out in its little brass mount, and below is a space for storing spare 1.18mm leads.

I have fully serviced this pencil.  It works perfectly.
