A very attractive slim Waterman Maestro fountain pen in a rather stunning matte black with gold trim finish and in excellent, undamaged condition.  The Maestro was a very popular mid-range Waterman model.  It has a gold plated cap top with a gold plated pierced pocket clip that has the Waterman logo at the shoulder.  There is a narrow gold palted band around the cap lip that bears the  "Waterman Made in France" imprint.  The forward part of the barrel and gripping section are black, with ribbing to the finger grip which affords a really good positive purchase when writing.  There is a further gold band to the barrel, and a shaped barrel end piece onto which the cap posts securely.  This pen will accept a standard Waterman ink converter (already fitted to the pen) or if you prefer you can also use standard Waterman or International sized ink cartridges.  The gold plated nib is in a medium point.  

I have fully serviced this pen. The medium point nib feels very smooth on paper, and writes with a very pleasing wet and consistent line.
