WE566 Wahl-Eversharp Silver Plated and Hard Rubber Pencil.

A beautiful USA-made and very unusual orange and black woodgrain pattern ebonite pencil with silver plated appointments that is in good condition.  This is a very unusual and good-looking pencil not withstanding the small amount of damage on it which is limited to a little plating wear to the edges of the crown and some minor discolouration to the point.  The barrel is, unusually, made from hard rubber and it has no noticeable scratches or scuffs.  The top knob is twisted to extend the lead - it is a propel-only pencil.  There is a clear imprint on the metal collar at the top of the barrel.  Above this is the crown, which can be twisted to extend the 1.18mm lead.  

I have fully serviced this pencil.  It is a propel-only pencil and I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism.   It works perfectly.  A very unusual pencil.
