A very nice English silver plated pencil that is in very good condition.  With a loupe, I can see the usual fine and wispy surface scratches, but, unusually for a silver plated pencil of this age, there does not appear to be any brassing or plating wear and the polished barrel has a lovely original shine to it.  The top knob is twisted to extend the lead - it is a propel-only pencil.  There is a clear imprint at the top of the barrel.  The spade-ended pocket clip has a large shoulder with which it is attached to the barrel.  There are no initials engraved or any other markings and the silver plating is nice and bright with a slight patina which is generally sought-after with silver and silver-plated items.  

I have fully serviced this pencil.  It is a propel-only pencil and I have fitted a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism.   It works perfectly.
