SH1807 Targa by Sheaffer No. 1005 Fluted Gold Plate Pencil

A gold plated Targa pencil.  This pencil is in very good condition - the only damage I can see are some small discoloured spots to the gold plating that you will find are not really noticeable and certainly do not detract from the pen's good looks.  Otherwise, it has no dings, no plating wear and no noticeable scratches.  The cap has the distinctive flat top with a black inlaid disk and a gold plated band above the pierced white dot pocket clip.   The design is very much inspired by 1920s flat-top pens.  The cap pulls off to reveal a barely used white eraser with a couple of spare 0.9mm leads below.  This is a propel-repel pencil that works by twisting the cap.  I have installed a fresh 0.9mm lead into the mechanism and it is all ready to go.  

I have fully serviced this pencil. It works perfectly.
