This Targa is in excellent, and possibly unused condition.  I can see no damage on it at all.  The lovely frosted cap and barrel have no dings and have the delicate overall frosting.  The chrome plated pocket clip is pierced with the Sheaffer white dot at the shoulder.  This pen has a flat cap and barrel end inset with a black disc.  The cap pulls off to reveal the gorgeous inlaid nib, which is in a fine point.  This is a cartridge/converter pen; you can use either the original press-bar Sheaffer ink converter that is already fitted to the pen or a standard Sheaffer ink cartridge.  Very unusually, this pen not only still has its price sticker and nib width sticker on the back of the cap, but it also has a foil label under the pocket clip terminal.  

 I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes very well indeed with a wet and consistent fine width line.
