A very attractive full-sized Mentmore.  It is in excellent condition, with no damage that I was able to spot.  This pen is in lovely condition.  Both cap and barrel are made from glossy black celluloid, with no noticeable scratches or any other damage that I can see.  The chasing on the cap and barrel is in the ever-popular barleycorn pattern and is still perfectly crisp and clear.  The cap has a large flat black hard rubber top button that holds on the gold filled tapered pocket clip with the Mentmore "M" on the shoulder.  Near the cap lip is a single narrow gold plated band.  This is a button-filled pen and you can unscrew to barrel end blind cap to reveal the original brass filling button.  The barrel bears an imprint that is crisp and shows no wear.  The nib is a nice large 14 carat Mentmore in what looks to be a fine to medium point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and lays down a great wet and medium-fine width line.  It is a soft nib and will manage a tiny bit of line width variation as you write.
