This is a beautiful glossy blue marbled casein No. 12 with gold veins.  It is in excellent condition - I really can't see any damage on this very well presented pen.  The cap has a conical gold plated top "jewel" and a long gold plated pocket clip with the "CS" cipher within a diamond cartouche at the top and another diamond at the bottom end.  There is also a single gold plated cap band.  The barrel has a good clear and easily read imprint opposite a short filling lever.  This has a circular end tab and "CS" within a circle imprinted on the tab  The nib, a lovely Conway Stewart No. 3N, is made from 14 carat gold and is in a rather unusual broad stub point.  The box has seen better days; it is bound on the edges by tape - I don't think this was because the box was falling apart or anything, rather it seems to have been a precautionary measure to help protect the box.   

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib is very smooth and lays down a really lovely wet and broad width line.  As this is a stub nub it will provide you with some effortless and very attractive line width variation as you write.  

A lovely slim pen in excellent condition.
