CS1170 Conway Stewart Duro-Point Pencil.

A very nice grey and black marbled casein Duro-Point pencil, in good condition.  Through a loupe I can see that the surface is crazed, which is a very common fault on these older casein pens and pencils, where the surface dries out.  There are also a couple of minor scratches to the surface, so not the best condition pencil, but certainly not the worst and it does still have a good glossy appearance.  It has a black top knob that is slightly flared at the top and has two narrow red gold-filled bands at the lower end with the pocket clip below.  This is a washer style clip, plain and gold-plated, with a diamond-shaped terminal.  On the side of the barrel is a rather faded imprint, but it can still be read.  I have installed a fresh 1.18mm lead into the mechanism and it is all ready to go.   

I have fully serviced this pencil, it works perfectly.
