The Sport Classic by Kaweco has been the quintessential pocket pen in Europe since it was first introduced in the 1930s.  This is the Brass Sport version which, as the name would suggest, is milled from a solid rod of brass.  It is really quite short with the cap in, but remove and post the cap, and you have a good sized pen that is comfortable to use for extended periods.  This pen is in excellent and, as far as I can see, totally undamaged condition.  The brass barrel and cap are unlacquered so that they will weather and gain a patina with use.  I have lightly polished this example so that some mild patina remains.  If you want a mirror-bright finish, then a little metal polish will do the trick in short order.  It has  an octagonal cross-section cap.  The shorty barrel will unscrew to allow the fitting of a standard International ink cartridge or a Kaweco Sport ink converter (one is included already fitted inside the pen).  The stainless steel nib is in a medium point. 

I can see absolutely no damage on this pen and it looks to me like it has hardly been used.   In testing, it wrote with a nice smooth medium width line.
