LM124 Lamy Al-Star Fountain Pen, Charged Green 2016 Special Edition, 14ct Gold Nib. (Medium)

This is a rather nice old stock Lamy Al-Star in the short-lived and now rather scarce Charged Green colour.  Very unusually, this pen has received an "upgrade" in the form of a medium point 14ct gold Lamy nib replacing the usual steel one.  This is one of a small consignment of old stock Lamy pens that I have purchased and now am offering for sale at a significant discount from their "new" price.  There is no damage at all on this pen, and besides me dipping the nib to get the writing sample, it has never been used.  This pen is made from anodised aluminium.  It has a good, large size, but is not a heavy pen.  The cap has a very robust thick wire pocket clip.  It pulls off.  The gripping section is well shaped to afford a very secure grip.  The barrel has a little slot in it so you can see if you still have ink in the cartridge (or converter) you are using.  The pen will use a standard Lamy ink cartridge (some provided in the box), or a Lamy Z24 ink converter (there is already a new one fitted to the pen).

I have fully serviced this pen.  It writes with a lovely smooth medium width line.
