I have never come across Ellington pens before.  This looks like a very attractive and well-made modern pen.  It has no damage on it at all and is in nearly pristine condition.  I am even unsure as to whether it has ever actually been used.  It is in a rather lovely glossy orange lacquer with all jet black trim.  The cap has a 10-sided top button with a conical-shaped "jewel" atop it.  There is a black pocket clip and a black cap lip band that bears the "Ellington" imprint.  The barrel has a black point.  This is a retractable ballpoint that you work by twisting the cap.  The cap also pulls off to allow the fitting of a refill.  In the pen currently is the original black refill that works perfectly still.  There is a spare blue refill in the box. This pen will also accept any Parker style G2 refill ,so the choice is huge.  The original box is also in lovely condition with a flocked pad and the original card outer slipcase still present.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  It works perfectly.
