MS934 Diplomat Excellence, boxed. (Medium)

Date: c2000s

Size: Length Capped - 138mm; Posted - 155mm

A rather attractive black lacquer Diplomat Excellence fountain pen with the polished chrome cap in really lovely condition.  I have looked this pen over with a loupe, and I can't even find any micro-scratches to the mirror polished cap.  I suspect that the pen may never have actually been used.  The cap has a white inset top with the Diplomat logo in black.  The pocket clip ends in a teardrop-shaped terminal which is pierced.  The end of the barrel is also chrome plated and shaped to allow the cap to "click" on for a firm and safe posting.  The cap pulls off to reveal the large stainless steel Diplomat nib.  The barrel unscrews to reveal the original, and apparently unused, ink converter.  You can also use standard International ink cartridges in this pen, and there are two below the pad in the box.  The presentation box is also in very nice condition with a white satin pad thgat is decorated with the Diplomat logo, and white card inssert and a brushed aluminium lid.  The white card outer slipcase is also still present and also in lovely condition.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib feels very smooth and produces a good, wet, medium width line. v A very classy and almost pristine condition pen.  It could easily pass off as brand new.
