OS093 Osmiroid 65. (Italic Medium Straight)

It is rather uncommon to find an Osmiriod 65 pen in such good condition as this - probably because they were used to death, and not really cared for that much,  There are a few tiny surface scratches, but I was unable to spot any significant damage, and the pen still has a lovely glossy appearance.  The cap has a slanted top with an inset black top button.  This holds on the chrome plated pocket clip.  This has a flat shoulder with the Osmiroid "O" imprinted at the terminal.  It has a narrow cap band, made of stainless steel like the filling lever.  This gives it a slightly different look to the pocket clip, but it is as it should be.  The barrel bears a small imprint that remains nice and crisp.  The section is black.  The nib is a gold plated Osmiroid in an italic medium point with, unusually, all its gold plating still intact.  As these nibs just screw in and out, it makes these pens very versatile as they can accept not only Osmiroid nibs, but some Burnham nibs, and nearly all the Esterbrook nibs too.
