An English burgundy Parker 51 Aerometric that is still in excellent condition.  There are no splits, cracks, chips, with just the usual few micro-scratches mainly to the cap frosting.  The cap body still has most of its frosting intact and looks the part. The grey cap top jewel is clear with no chips or cracks.  Around the cap lip is the imprint, showing just "PARKER".   The cap has a chrome plated pocket clip.  The barrel and hood are still glossy with no noticeable scratches or any other damage.  The lovely 14-carat gold hooded nib is in a medium point.  Unscrewing the barrel, the Aerometric filler is also beautifully frosted and unmarked by damage.  It has the "PRESS RIBBED BAR 4 TIMES" imprint.  The original pliglass ink sac is still fitted and is still in perfectly serviceable condition, and shows remarkably little internal ink staining, retaining most of its original transparency.    

I have fully serviced this pen. The fine point nib feels very smooth on paper, and writes with a very pleasing wet and consistent medium width line.
