A beautiful and almost pristine English made '51 clutch pencil. I can find no damage on this pencil at all. The cap has a very nice clear grey jewel and the short arrow chrome-plated Parker pocket clip. At the cap lip is the imprint which read "PARKER 51" and "MADE IN ENGLAND .5." The barrel is glossy and is in the lovely classic India Black colour. At the point, it has the ribbing with the inset gold colour that adds to the look of these earlier clutch pencils. You can pull off the cap, and below is a partly used pink eraser. The pencil works perfectly - push down on the cap to open the clutch and allow the lead to advance.
I have fully serviced this pencil. I have fitted a new 0.9mm lead into the mechanism, and it is working perfectly.
