This modern take on the classic Parker 51 pen is in excellent and, as far as I can see, totally undamaged condition.  It would surprise me if it has been used more than once or twice in its lifetime so far.  This pen is in black resin with a brushed steel cap.  The cap has a conical-ended chrome plated top "jewel" with a chrome plated Parker arrow pocket clip and tassie.  The body of the cap shows some lovely frosting with none of the usual micro-scratches.  The cap lip is polished and bears the imprint "PARKER / FRANCE Q.III".  The cap unscrews from this pen to reveal the Octanium nib in a medium point. The barrel also unscrews,m and the original Parker ink converter is already fitted to the pen.  You can, of course, also use Parker ink cartridges if you so wish.  The original box is also in lovely condition.  It is lined inside with grey satin.  Below the pad are a couple of Parker ink cartridges, and in the box is also the original instruction sheet.  

I have fully serviced this pen. The medium point nib feels very smooth on paper and writes with a very pleasing wet and consistent line.

This is the very first modern Parker 51 I have had for sale.
