A very nice, large-sized M800 in excellent and completely undamaged condition.  This pen looks to me like it may never have actually been used apart from me dipping the nib to get the writing sample below.  The M800 is the gold-trimmed version.  The cap has the famous Pelikan logo at the end etched into gold into the gold plated top "jewel", and with a gold plated pelican beak pocket clip and twin gold plated cap bands.  The wider band at the lip bears the pen's imprint.  The blind cap at the end of the barrel is twisted to operate the piston filling mechanism.  At the forward end of the barrel is the translucent green viewing "window".  The nib is huge and is made from 18ct solid gold.  It is a two-tone nib in a medium point. The original box is also in lovely condition and includes the small white leatherette pouch and the wwhitecard outer slipcase.
