PE148 Pelikan Souveran M600, boxed. (Fine)

Date: c2021

Size: Length - 133mm capped; 155mm posted.

A medium sized M600 in excellent condition.  This pen has no damage on it that I can see and apart from being filled once, is still a brand new pen.  The M600 is the gold-trimmed version.  The cap has the famous Pelikan logo at the end etched in gold into the gold plated top "jewel", and with a gold plated pelican beak pocket clip and twin gold plated cap bands.  The wider band at the lip bears the pen's imprint.  The blind cap at the end of the barrel is twisted to operate the piston filling mechanism.  The nicely sized nib is made from 14ct solid gold.  It is a two-tone nib in a fine point. The beautiful and glossy black barrel has a semi-translucent forward part which allows you to see how much ink you have left.  The pen is presented here in its original Pelikan box with the white Pelikan pen pouch to keep it in.  The outer white slipcase is also present still and the original guarantee and instruction booklets are beneath the pad.

The nib feels very smooth when writing, and has the typical generous width line that you often get from the gold nibbed Pelikan pens.
