This is a little bit different.  It is a Targa 1022 pen set, but both pieces are still sealed inside their original plastic sleeves.  This set has lain unused and unopened like this for around 40 years or so.  Both pieces are therefore in pristine and as-new condition.  This really is a one-off, and I have never seen anything quite like it.  The 1022 model was a black lacquer finish with gold-plated trim and a 14ct gold-plated nib.  The original box is in very good condition - it looks like there may have been a sticker on the lid at some point, as there is a rectangular residue.  Inside, it is very clean and tidy.  Below the pad are the original fountain pen cartridges, again, still sealed, but most of the ink inside has evaporated.  Below those, is the original instruction sheet. 

The Targa is a very stylish and substantial pen.  This is a pristine set that is still sealed in the plastic sleeves.
