This is an example the recently retired Sheaffer 300 ballpoint pen. This pen has a black lacquer finish barrel and cap with chrome plated trim. This pencil is in very good condition with the only damage being some minor surface wear commensurate with carreful use. It is a large pen with a good heft. The cap has a tapered crown with the pocket clip mounted high. This is pierced with the Sheaffer White Dot at the shoulder and it is spring-loaded as well. Around the cap lip is the imprint. The point is chrome plated. This is a tqist action retractable ballpoint pen; you twist the cap to operate the mechanism.
I have fully serviced this pencil. It contains its original Sheaffer refill that is working perfectly.
