SW842 Swan Self-Filler No. 3261 (Semi-Flexible Fine)

A lovely glossy black hard rubber Swan Self-Filler pen.  This pen is in excellent condition with no noticeable surface scratches, chips or cracks; the only damage I can see on it is some minor foxing to the plating on the filling lever.  The hard rubber of cap and barrel is still beautifully dark with no apparent colour fading at all.  The pen has that soft sheen that you only seem to get with ebonite.  The cap has a domed top.  The pocket clip is gold filled with a ball at the bottom and the Swan logo imprinted at the shoulder.  The main barrel imprint is in excellent condition - deep and crisp.  The filling lever is also gold filled and is rather thin and long.  The nib is the original Swan No. 2 nib made from 14 carat gold.  It has a fine width point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib writes very nicely with a wet and consistent medium width line.  This is a soft - I would say semi-flexible nib, and it will give you some lovely and almost effortless line width variation from an extra-fine to a medium width.
