A true classic - the Lamy 2000 has been manufactured without a break since the 1960s, and still looks contemporary today.   This Lamy 2000 is in excellent condition with no damage to it that I can see.  The original owner told me that he has never actually used the pen.  The cap has a squared off polished pocket clip.  The cap and barrel are both beautifully and delicately brush textured.  The cap pulls of and "clicks" back on with a well-engineered action.  Just forward of the ink view window in the barrel are a pair of lugs that the cap clutch engages on.  The semi-hooded nib is made from 18 carat gold and is in a medium point.  This is a piston-filled pen.  You twist the blind cap at the end of the barrel to operate the filling mechanism.  The original box is also in very nice condition.  Inside the box is the original instruction sheet.  The black card outer slipcase is also still present and it, too, is in lovely shape.

I have fully serviced this pen.  It works perfectly.  The nib is very smooth and writes with a great wet and consistent medium width line

I don't usually get used Lamy 2000 pens, and this one is in almost pristine condition with a lovely nib.
