A very attractive glossy burgundy Slimfold in excellent condition.  There are no splits, cracks, chips or noticeable surface scratches.  All trim is rolled gold and is bright and shiny.  The cap is topped with a conical burgundy "jewel" and has a washer style arrow pocket clip and a narrow "deco" engraved band near the cap lip.  The barrel imprint on the side of the barrel is very clear, unusually crisp and deep.  The barrel unscrews to reveal the Aerometric filler.  This is in near pristine condition still with no markings or corrosion on the sac guard and just a very slight discolouration of the pliglass ink sac, suggesting that it has been used very sparingly over the years. The 14 carat gold nib, size 5, is original to the pen and is in a medium width.  The original black and white polka-dot paperboard presentation box has some minor edge and corner wear to the outside, but is lovely and clean inside and includes the original instruction sheet.  

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib writes with a good wet line and a super smooth action and some softness to it which will provide for some very attractive line width variation as you write.
