PA3816 Parker 51 Custom Aerometric (Medium)

This is a beautiful English India Black Parker 51 with a "converging lines" pattern rolled gold cap.  This pen is in excellent condition - I really can't see anything wrong with this pen  - no noticeable scratches to barrel or hood, which are lovely and glossy, and no dings or other damage to the cap.  The cap is topped by a grey "jewel" with the shorter rolled gold Parker arrow pocket clip below.  The body of the cap is decorated with groups of vertical incised lines that converge at the top.  The glossy lucite barrel and hood are in very nice condition with no splits, cracks or chips.  The barrel unscrews to reveal the brushed steel aerometric filler.  The filler is still fitted with its original ply-glass ink sac.  These sacs seem to go on forever, and it will probably be still going strong in another 50 years time.  It has only very mild internal ink staining and retains some of its original translucency.  The nib is in 14 carat gold and is undamaged in a medium width point.

I have fully serviced this pen.  The nib writes with a lovely smooth line, and in a medium width.  It has a good wet ink flow.
